Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Tax Manager with a strong background in financial planning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of tax regulations and financial planning strategies, with a focus on providing integrated tax and financial planning services to our clients. This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong client management capabilities, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage the preparation and review of complex individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client wealth.Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance.Provide comprehensive financial planning services, including retirement planning, estate planning, investment strategies, and risk management.Work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and develop personalized plans to achieve those goals.Analyze clients financial status, develop financial models, and present detailed financial plans.Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.Serve as the primary point of contact for tax and financial planning clients.Conduct client meetings to discuss tax and financial planning strategies, address concerns, and provide updates.Mentor and develop junior tax and financial planning staff.Delegate tasks effectively and ensure high-quality work output from the team.Conduct training sessions on tax regulations and financial planning techniques.Assist in the growth and development of the firms tax and financial planning services.Identify opportunities for new client acquisition and cross-selling additional services.Participate in networking events and industry associations to promote the firm.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification required; CFP designation preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in tax management and financial planning, preferably within a CPA firm.Proven track record of managing complex tax and financial planning engagements.Skills and Abilities:In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and financial planning principles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial planning tools.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.High level of integrity and professionalism.Strong client service orientation.Leadership and team-building capabilities.Detail-oriented and organized.
