SUMMARY
Oversees the Food Prep Kitchen operation of the store inclusive of the HMR production area to ensure that all budgeted financial objectives and departmental product quality and presentation standards are achieved to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Ensures that all corporate and state sanitation procedures and regulations are met. Supervises and directs the work of Food Prep/Commissary personnel within the department. Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage day to day department operations to include:Ensuring the proper supervision of department staff.Responsible for appropriate scheduling and staffing of department to satisfy business needs.Ensure that all associates within department adhere to all Federal and State laws, as well as all corporate policies and procedures related to safety/sanitation.Responsible for the hiring, training, and development of all Food Prep/Commissary staff. Documents performance issues, and recommends disciplinary actions as needed.Ensure that all associates in department follow company dress code.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives. Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills. Basic Literacy. Basic Computer Skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Degree or equivalent. 3+ years of related experience.

The disclosed compensation range for this position is applicable within the state the position resides. The actual base pay offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The compensation range is one component of Price Chopper/Market 32 and Northeast Shared Services' total compensation and benefits package, which includes, 401(k), 401(k) match, paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and more.
