Supplier ManagementYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate an unconstrained demand plan. Each day, you will conduct finished goods rationalization in coordination with relevant functions. You will also showcase your expertise by measuring, reporting on, and driving improvement in demand planning accuracy.The work model for the role is hybrid.This role is contributing to the Process Industries Process Control Platform division.You will be mainly accountable for:*Creating and maintaining the rolling 18-24 months of unconstrained demand forecasts for assigned products.*Assembling and analyzing data pertinent to creating an unconstrained demand plan.*Supporting Sales by providing guidance on global demand for specific products and assisting with the consolidation of the worldwide demand plan.*Monitoring finished goods Stock Keeping Units (SKU) levels, recommending SKU rationalization initiatives, and feeding them into the Inventory Check book.Our team dynamicsYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field plus 8 years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.Demonstrates working knowledge of supply chain and experience in ERP (SAP preferred).5% or less travel required. You'll visit a third party warehouse in Columbus, Ohio once per month.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us
