Job Description:

This position will serve as primary support for the Voter Education program, assisting with execution of issue-advocacy and get-out-the-vote activities. The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the program, including direct responsibility for accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated with experience supporting fundraising and/or political campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for prompt and accurate record-keeping of contributions and expenditures; manage Voter Education CRM.

Support fundraising efforts, draft materials and execute logistics of solicitation campaigns and donor relationship management.

In partnership with the VP, help to manage external vendors with the creation and development of advertising, including reviewing collateral to ensure it meets ABA’s vision and legal guidelines.

Manage the processing and payment of invoices and contracts; maintain budget reports.

Execute meeting logistics for Advisory Council meetings, donor meetings, and stakeholder presentations.

Perform research as it relates to elections, races, incumbents, and public polling.

Work with VP, counsel, accounting team and external vendors to ensure full compliance with all legal requirements, particularly those of the Federal Election Commission and IRS.

Draft and manage regular program communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum of two years of relevant work experience

Campaign and/or trade association experience

Fundraising support experience

Experience managing vendor relationships

Experience working with a Political Action Committee or Independent Expenditure Committee preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple issues, projects, tasks and information/requests

Ability to adapt quickly to a changing political environment

Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel <20%

Target Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000

Salary Band Range:

$59,273.00 - $80,766.00 - $102,260.00
