Description

As a

Senior BI Engineer , you will be responsible for assisting our clients envision, design and deploy analytics workloads as part of our solutions. You will be part of a small, dynamic team and will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple phases of the solution life cycle, including designing and implementing models and processes for large scale datasets used for analytics and AI.

Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design Azure based solutions that meet those requirementsProvide strategic guidance on leveraging Microsoft Data Platform technologies (such as Fabric, Azure Synapse, Power BI, etc.) for data warehousing, data engineering, semantic modeling, analytics, and reportingSolution developmentCreating highly performant and scalable Data Warehouses using Microsoft Fabric and Azure SynapseDeveloping enterprise grade Power BI / Analysis Services modelsCreate technical documentation for solutions that have been builtStaying up to date on the latest features and capabilities being released across the Microsoft BI stackExperience building SQL-based data warehouses in Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

10+ years of general technology experience5+ years of Business Intelligence experienceExperience programming in T-SQL and DAXExperience with data modeling concepts including 3NF and dimensional modelsExperience optimizing and performance tuning SQL Server (Azure and on-prem), Analysis Services, and Power BI Semantic ModelsExcellent presentation and whiteboarding skillsExperience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiencesExperience working in a team environment with various levels of expertiseOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsDP-203 (Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate) or DP-600 (Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric)Preferred experience administrating and rolling out technology like Microsoft Fabric and Power BIPreferred experience training others in a BI technologyPrior consulting experience a plus.Benefits
