Job ID 2024-2896 Category Marketing Position Type Regular Full-Time # of Openings 1 Posted Date 3 months ago(6/4/2024 10:42 AM) Overview: Through a deep understanding of the firm's core values and expertise, this creative, forward-thinking National Healthcare Market Strategist will work closely with our Market Sector Leader (MSL) and the other members of the Healthcare Leadership Team (HLT) to drive the development of marketing strategy and messaging for our healthcare practice consistently in our regions and for the sector overall. Through Business Development, Practice Group Leaders and their teams, this role is responsible for leading marketing strategies to accelerate top line growth and differentiation in the marketplace. (Members of the Healthcare Leadership Team (HLT) include the MSL, Market Sector Operations Leader, National Healthcare Business Development, National Healthcare Marketing Coordinator and the National Healthcare Market Strategist.) The successful candidate also collaborates with the Marketing and Communications departments and oversees the creation and consistent use of key messaging to support the sector's vision through compelling stories of how we deliver value to our clients. The National Healthcare Market Strategist must be part hands-on tactician and part strategist and have a passion for people and creativity. In this role you will: focus on four key areas: Strategy Development: Partner with MSL and National Healthcare Business Development on market-specific strategy and competitive differentiation to direct and support business plan priorities. Market Research: Facilitate and manage sector-specific marketing research on project types, industry trends, and new services to inform the pursuit of new opportunities. Market Analysis: Facilitate and provide marketing research analysis and applications for using sector-specific knowledge to be more successful and guide growth. External and Internal Brand: Work closely with National Healthcare Marketing Coordinator as they collaborate with Marketing/Communications to raise the awareness, reinforce our differentiators, and connect with the healthcare market through a unified brand message delivered consistently in all collateral and external channels. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist MSL and Practice Group Leaders in the development of Business Developer's and Principal's ability to clearly communicate our value to their client through key differentiators to ensure best outcomes for top strategic pursuits. Develop market-specific key messaging that aligns with market strategy to create a compelling advantage for HGA that differentiates the firm. Work with the MSL and National Healthcare Business Developer to review annual principal and tactical plans to ensure support of the national sector strategy through regional approaches. In collaboration with the national healthcare sector leadership team, develop national and practice group marketing budgets based on strategic priorities and regional strategies. Collaborate with Practice Group Leaders, Principals and Business Developers on significant pursuits according to the national practice definitions to guide the development of win strategies and messaging. Collaborate with the MSL to identify opportunities to share industry knowledge including collaboration with HLT on the planning of the Fall Planning Retreat. Manage and/or conduct marketing trend research and benchmarking, including the attendance of select national sector-related conferences. WORKING WITH THE NATIONAL HEALTHCARE MARKETING COORDINATOR + MARKETING: Partner with the National Healthcare Marketing Coordinator in their responsibilities of: Managing the creation and implementation of key messages to nsure support of the sector's strategy. Acting as the content authority to ensure content used by the sector has been approved and thoroughly vetted for consistency across all channels Oversee a systematic process to develop, organize and consistently update content and collateral supporting the sector's strategy through the promotion of projects, expertise, and capabilities. Proactively work with healthcare practitioners to identify opportunities and work with National Healthcare Coordinator to create submissions for speaking abstracts for specific national conferences that align with industry trends. WORKING WITH COMMUNICATIONS: Oversee the creation and curation of print, online, website, social and eNewsletter content for the sector ensuring all channels are updated consistently by working closely with our communications staff, including Content Strategist and PR manager/agencies. Collaborate with our Creative Director, Brand and National Healthcare Marketing Coordinator to initiate concepts and approve compelling graphics to support key messages and content. You will need to have: Knowledge of: Marketing concepts, practices, procedures, communications processes, and techniques. Industry knowledge specific to the market sector including web resources, relevant trade organizations, publications, and events. Skill with: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint a plus Strong interpersonal skills Excellent work ethic Proofreading, editing and standardizing proposal text for proper grammar, spelling, comprehension, and style while adhering to brand standardizations. Ability to: Communicate complex topics effectively in written and verbal form to multiple levels and disparate groups within the organization. Display exceptional marketing research and organizational skills while dealing with complex material. Understand technical/professional service-related material. Manage and engage a group of senior leaders in a positive and pro-active manner. Provide a high level of attention to detail and handle multiple schedules and deadlines, conduct self-directed research and analysis while working independently with minimal supervision. Be highly organized, creative and solution oriented. Demonstrate flexibility in working with a variety of team members, including firm Principals and project leaders, to meet deadlines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, mass media or another related field or required. Ten to fifteen years of related work experience in writing and research, preferably within the architecture or engineering fields. Travel between HGA offices and industry events on occasion Salary Information: The pay range listed aligns to the geography of the office for which this position is posted. Actual compensation will be based upon work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
