What You'll Do
Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts
Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments
Develop drawings and technical specifications as required
Perform engineering calculations as required
Review engineering drawings and produce field sketches to support Construction & Engineering
Field management of construction and equipment contractors including quality surveillance, field engineering, cost and budget management, and scheduling
Track back charges and negotiate with Contractors - defend every dollar like it's your own
Uphold project standards by adhering to project controls & procedures
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements
Review design and financial projections to verify accurate and reasonable project plans
Conduct regular meetings with clients to clarify requirements and address specific needs
Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients
What You'll Need 5-10 years' experience working on fast-track projects
Demonstrated experience and/or skills working on multiple projects of varied degrees of complexity at the same time
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, attention to details and find root causes for issues
Goal orientated
Professional Engineer license considered a plus
AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication skills required. Must read, speak and understand English language in verbal and written communication
Shows a safety first mindset; recommends improvements to make the workplace safer for self and others
Your Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management, or equivalent experience required.
