We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Winch Truck Driver to join our operations in the North Dakota oil fields. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting heavy equipment and machinery vital to our oil field operations. This role requires precision, safety, and a strong commitment to maintaining the integrity of equipment and cargo.Responsibilities:Operate winch and flatbed trucks to transport drilling rigs, pipes, and other heavy equipment within and between oil field sites.Secure all loads according to company guidelines and DOT regulations to ensure safe transport of materials and equipment.Perform routine maintenance checks on winch trucks and associated equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.Navigate rural and rough road conditions safely and efficiently.Coordinate with site managers and other logistic team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment.Maintain logs of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and cargo details in compliance with state and federal regulations.Respond to varying weather conditions, adapting driving techniques and routes as necessary.Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from Dispatcher/Supervisor.Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activitiesPrepares receipts/paperwork for load picked up.Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.Loads and unloads truck.Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.Operates company vehicles with capacity of up to 105,500 pounds to move materials, tools, and equipment to and from work locations in support of construction and maintenance activities and/or deliver operating materials and supplies from one location to another.Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment, and assists during the operation of equipment at job site.Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, and/or irregular work hours, be on-call with short notice and exposed to extreme weather conditions.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Requirements:
