Competitive candidates MUST reside in one of the listed zip codes:33428, 33433, 33486, 33432, 33442, 33441, 33064, 33069, 33060, 33062This position is for an Auto Estimator, handling claims resulting in property damage to vehicles. You may be the first point of contact to meet with our insureds, explain coverage, estimate vehicle damage, and help them through the claims process while providing Remarkable service. This includes:Utilizing automated estimating systems to prepare repair estimatesProviding technical support to claim handlers on vehicle repair issuesApplying knowledge of market value and other factors affecting reparability issuesEvaluating bid content and photo documentation, vehicle damage, and causation issuesAnswering inbound calls and making outbound calls to customersMay occasionally require interacting with parties who express strong emotions or concerns about ongoing inspections or claim resolutionsProvide exceptional customer service throughout the claims process, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionallyThe Appraiser team works remotely but may require travel to auto shops for in-person inspections, and/or State Farm offices as needed.Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours. Candidates may be asked to work outside of their assigned territory as business needs dictates.Qualifications

MUST
demonstrate the following:Auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, and/or auto insurance appraiser experienceAbility to adequately evaluate vehicle damage and create repair estimates which may require stooping, bending, and some physical liftingExcellent communication and customer service skillsMotor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser License (preferred)A valid driver's license is requiredPreferred Skills:Motor Vehicle Physical Damage Appraiser LicenseCCC One and/or Mitchell knowledgeI-CAR Platinum CertificationCompetitive candidates also demonstrate the following:Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong critical thinking and decision-making skillsAbility to multi-task across technical platformsAccountabilityResourcefulnessAdditional Details:Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.Candidates may be required to work outside of their assigned territory as business needs dictate.
