Construction Management Assistant
Job Description:
Summary:
The Construction Management Assistant (CMA) will process all internal consumer residential construction and commercial construction draws bank-wide. The Construction Management Assistant will assist customers with issues related to their construction draws and any other items related to the file. The CMA must have an understanding of policies, requirements and regulations related to lending.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist customers in the preparation of new and existing draw requests
Order inspections from third party inspectors
Order down-date endorsements from various title companies
Review invoices and other documentation to support draw requests. Communicate issues to Construction Management Supervisor for resolution.
Review, understand and communicate issues regarding loan draw accuracy and correction of errors.
Initiate internal transfer requests as well as other miscellaneous advances.
Monitor and manage Builder’s Risk ticklers for specified construction projects. Work with Construction Management Supervisor to insure we have Builder’s Risk Insurance policies before vertical construction begins.
Monitor and manage the approved contractor’s list.
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Ability to perform on-site inspections occasionally
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the skills necessary to deal tactfully and professionally with customers, associates, senior management, auditors and regulators
Good organizational skills, a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
Effective time management and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
Ability to function in a high volume and fast paced environment
Ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality and professionalism
Valid driver’s license required. Must have the ability to travel to branch offices as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge or experience with construction or real estate preferred
Computer and Software Skills:
Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Land Gorilla experience helpful
Salesforce
Google
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
None
Additional Information:
Occasional overtime may be required
Some travel to other offices may be necessary to provide customer service coverage
Flexibility in attending bank networking functions to represent the department as needed
