In this key leadership role, you'll oversee all finance and accounting functions at our munitions plant, driving strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance. You'll lead financial analysis, reporting, pricing, and collaborate across departments, while working closely with senior management to shape financial strategies.
As the Director of Finance , you'll be at the heart of our financial strategy, driving our growth and success. You'll have the opportunity to:Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive informed decision-making.Accounting Excellence: Ensure the integrity of our financial records, from general ledger to accounts payable, while adhering to strict compliance standards.Project Financial Management: Collaborate with program managers to accurately estimate, forecast, and report project financials, ensuring profitability and efficiency.Financial Reporting and Analysis: Produce accurate financial statements, analyze key performance metrics, provide insightful reporting to support strategic initiatives, and ensuring full compliance with CAS, GAAP, and FAR standardsPricing and Cost Management: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop competitive pricing strategies, manage costs effectively, and ensure compliance with government regulations.Leadership and Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performing finance team, championing company values and empowering your team's professional growth.
This role is for you if you have these skills:Government contracting expertise: Solid understanding of CAS, GAAP, and FAR compliance.SAP/ERP proficiency: Experience leveraging SAP or ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.Financial versatility: Proven ability to excel in various finance disciplines, including FP&A, accounting, project controls, pricing, AR, AP, and payroll.Leadership prowess: Exceptional leadership skills to foster performance excellence, drive continuous improvement, develop talent, and cultivate a collaborative culture.Communication mastery: Strong written and verbal communication skills, adept at tailoring your message to audiences ranging from executives to frontline employees.
Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience.10 to 15 years related experience5 years Government accounting/contracting required; experience in an ammunition manufacturing setting preferred.CPA Certification preferredSAP ERP experience, Material Resource Planning (MRP) environment preferred.Great attitude and team player.Successful completion of background screening process.
