We work with our clients to develop the business plans and make the key decisions that will help them ultimately reach their goals, because we only succeed when our clients do.We are seeking a Director of Compliance that is responsible for ensuring that a company complies with all federal, state, and industry laws, regulations, and standards.Developing and implementing a company's compliance programWill be in direct contact with HUD and its subsidiaries.Identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk and developing corrective action plansEnsuring that the company and its business activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policiesConducting internal reviews or on-site audits to ensure compliance procedures are followedWorking closely with management and employees to foster a compliance-focused culture within the companyProviding training and guidance to staff on compliance mattersResponding to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures by evaluating and initiating investigative proceduresKeeping informed about changes in laws and regulations that affect the company's operationsPreparing annual budgetsThree plus years of compliance experience in property management/Affordable Housing preferredAdvanced Tax Credit & HUD Section 8 experience preferredSite Base Section 8 experienceExperience with an on-site wait listCertified Occupancy Specialist preferredExcellent leadership and motivational abilitiesExceptional communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of clienteleProficient in Real Page (Onesite)Ensure on-site personnel are maintaining the EIV binder for their propertyPrepare and complete Management Occupancy reports & tax credit reviewsMaintain state databases for tax credit reporting & prepare year-end LIHTC reportingMust be open to travelingWhy People Love Working Here:People are at the heart of what we do every day.
