Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Support project accounting by tracking costs, preparing invoices, and monitoring project budgets.

Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparations.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an engineering or construction environment.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
