Job Summary:The Assistant Director of Admissions for the Kellogg Full-Time MBA programs will serve as a key team member responsible for the day-to-day operations that assist Kellogg admissions in achieving its strategic priorities across a portfolio of eight programs. In addition to creating and executing seamless workflows and processes, this role also performs core admissions duties such as recruiting, interviewing, evaluating and yielding.Specific Responsibilities

:Creates, manages and optimizes admissions processes and procedures that ensure a seamless progression from launching the application to matriculating the class. This includes the operations related to the closing of an application round, file reading, interview coordination, evaluation confirmation, decision release and deposit deadlines.Creates and analyzes admissions data to drive strategic decisions and identify efficiencies for admission processes and workflows.Participates in all aspects of the selection process for the full-time programs, including interviewing candidates, evaluating applications and awarding scholarships.Collaborates with key stakeholders such as student organizations, Academic Experience, Student Affairs and the Career Management Center to support key admissions initiatives.Participates in domestic and international recruiting events, which includes being the lead presenter to large audiences.Collaborates with fellow admissions team members to support key admissions initiatives and to contribute to the strategic goals of the admissions team.Support the execution of the day-to-day operations of the admissions process including application launch, file reading, interview coordination, decision release, deposit submissions and matriculation.Participates in the recruiting, interviewing, evaluating and yielding of prospective students.Liaise with various departments, such as financial aid, student services, and academic departments, to ensure a smooth admissions process.Assist with other projects, administrative duties and initiatives as assigned.MiscellaneousPerforms other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable skills can be acquired4+ years of professional work experienceExperience in database management and data analysisCapable of leveraging systems, technology and processes to manage workflows efficientlyExcellent public speaking skills and comfortable presenting to large groupsAbility to think strategically and execute tacticallySuperior verbal and written communication skillsWilling and able to travel internationally, domestically and work occasional evenings and weekends.Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)Passion for team-based work with clear dedication for fostering positive, collegial relationshipsExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing tasks and projects within a dynamic environmentAdaptable and flexible with strong change management skillsStrong interpersonal skillsThe ability to generate and manage innovative ideas and see them through from start to finishForward thinking, proactive and solution-orientedQuality-driven and results-focused approach to workStrong sense of initiative with good judgment on when to work independently, as well as involve team membersPreferred Qualifications:Experience in admissions or higher educationExperience working in Slate, our admissions CRM systemExperience with recruiting, talent development or talent evaluationExperience presenting in front of large audiencesPreferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)Strong analytical skillsStrong project management skillsTarget hiring range for this position will be between $70,000 - $80,000 per year.
