Job Description Summary
Leader responsible for setting the global strategy and operations for the GE Vernova Finance Leadership Programs. In this role, you will design the programs to attract and develop high-performing finance leaders and serving as a pipeline for diverse leadership talent across the Finance function, spanning all businesses in GE Vernova. This leader will manage, coach, and empower a global program team and program participants, partnering with the Executive Sponsor and business leadership for rotational placement and development experiences.
Job Description
Design, implement, and oversee entire lifecycle for the key talent pipeline to the GE Vernova Finance function (FMP internship program, FMP and OFLP), ensuring it aligns with the organization and function strategic goals.
Responsible for leading team to deliver on all program mechanics, partnering with GEV University Relations for full program participant lifecycle.
Set priorities and KPIs for both programs, assessing progress with executive sponsor/segment sponsors and identifying action plans for continuous improvement.
Engage across businesses on workforce planning to develop rotation and placement strategies.
Develop curriculum, training modules, and annual summit that span essential finance topics, leadership skills, and industry best practices.
Drive performance management through expectation setting and regular engagement with assignment leaders and segment sponsors
Provide mentorship and guidance to program participants, fostering their professional growth and development.
Continuously evaluate and improve the program based on feedback and industry trends.
Develop and maintain relationships with key segment and BU stakeholders to prioritize selection and rotation placement and ultimate program roll-off placements or exits where required.
Build and maintain relationships with program alumnus, external partners, including universities, industry associations, and professional networks.
Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of the program and its impact on participants’ careers.
Build long-term finance culture that enables the Vernova Way & develops a strong brand for GEV finance internally and externally
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
Minimum of 7 years of Operational Finance experience
Proven success partnering with senior executives to provide strategic direction and for leadership engagement in program initiatives
Desired Characteristics
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems independently
Ability to lead and execute on large complex restructuring projects
Additional Information
The base pay range for this position is $240,000 - $300,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
