Job Description
AECOM is currently seeking a Program Manager IV for our Program and Project Management team in Orange County/Inland Empire, CA. Join the Program, Project Management (PPM) business line of AECOM and become an integral part of the AECOM team. This critical role is an exciting way to grow your career to the next level, enable you to mentor early career staff, and lead a team of professionals to a successful and meaningful outcome for personal satisfaction. This position will be working from the client site Monday - Friday.
This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Manages more complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar, thereby increasing the potential for larger change orders and consequences of error
May act independently as the IE representative with consulting firms and ensures that the final product reflects the original scope and budget requirements
Manages projects which have greater complexity than a Program Manager III
Increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports
Provides for overall performance management of a group of related projects, subprograms, and program activities managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually
Responsible for contract performance to include the safety and well-being of employees, financial management, project and quality management
Represents the company with respect to the customer
Works to ensure projects and sub-programs are organized and executed in a consistent manner and fulfil customer requirements
Requires a broad view of program objectives and organizational processes and generally works within five performance domains: program strategy alignment, benefits management, stakeholder engagement, life cycle management, and program governance
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
As a condition of employment, must pass client required background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior DSA (Department of the State Architect) experience
Experience with Proposal development is highly desired
Prior experience working with a higher education clients
Working with office suite and P6 is preferred
Strong writing and presentation skills
Working with project management software is highly preferred

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $145,000.00 - $235,000.00.
