JOB REQUIREMENTS: VP/Chief Nursing Officer-American Family Children\'s Hospital - 35429 Work Schedule : This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You will work at American Family Children\'s Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a VP/Chief Nursing Officer - American Family Children\'s Hospital to: * Serve as the nursing leader for UW Health pediatric services. * Partner with other clinical leaders to improve access, quality, safety, patient experience, productivity and efficiency of nursing practice. * Align initiatives around the tenants of Magnet and participate in maintaining the organization\'s Magnet status. Preferred - Doctor of Nursing Practice Work Experience: Minimum - Seven (7) years of progressively responsible nursing management or supervisory level experience Preferred - * Experience with an academic medical center * Experience working in one or more areas of the following pediatric areas: inpatient, outpatient or critical care nursing.
