The Automotive Supply Chain Specialist is responsible monitoring and understanding customer demand for their respective accounts, procurement of products from suppliers, optimization of inventory of such products to achieve Bose inventory targets, monitoring of in-bound deliveries to ensure timely arrival, shipment of products to customers per customer expectations, and communication/escalation of any non-conformance to any of these expectations to management and especially their respective customers.Demand planning by managing customer orders, forecast and Bose business forecast in Kinaxius Rapid Response, while managing outbound delivery to our OEM customers out of Bose or 3PL warehouses through communication with customers.The Supply Chain Planner is also responsible for Inventory control to keep at an optimized level based on OEM customer’s demand, material movement management, communication with 3PL warehouse for inbound and outbound shipments.Responsibilities:Maintain Material Master in Bose ERP system making sure to drive demand accurately.Manage material phase in/phase out of part numbers that might be undergoing a change led by Change Management, or an EOP (end of production)Manage customer forecast, orders, and delivery in ERP system to ensure on time delivery to customer.Work with Bose warehouse or 3PL to coordinate inbound and outbound transportation.Manage overseas and domestic vendors through daily purchasing operation to achieve optimized inventory level and on-time delivery.Service parts management with customers and suppliersExecute established supply chain operation processes to meet customer specific requirements (CSR’s) and expectations, along with leading the efforts when new CSR’s are communicated.
Requirements:Ability to travel for training to Mexico, must have valid US passportBachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or similar fieldProblem solving skills.Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)Strong working experience and knowledge of ERP system operation (SAP is preferred)Abilities of leadership, self-starter, cross-functional communicationDetail oriented, very well organized and data driven.Strong data analytic skillsWritten and spoken English (Written and spoken Spanish a bonus)Required Experience:2-5 years of relevant working experience and knowledge in the supply planning, inbound/outbound deliveries and procurement operations in the automotive industry or related manufacturing industries.Experience in warehouse/ 3PL operationExperience to work on a fast-paced environment while maintaining an individual workload.Ability to multitask and prioritize needs of the operation based on Customer needs.SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response Experience preferredGood working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications#LI-SS1Bose is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
