Senior Accountant - NonProfitAbout our Client:CFS of New York is working with a Nonprofit organization with a mission centered around serving individuals and families experiencing Homelessness in the community. They are currently experiencing tremendous growth and need a strong Sr. Accountant to join the team.What you'll do as the Sr. Accountant:Accurately code and ensure all Expenses & InvoicesMonthly Expense Reports using current funding sources.Provide accounting support to the Executive and Financial Management TeamMaintain logs and fiscal records ensuring accurate data is available for analysis.Bank reconciliation and maintain all bank binders for all sites.Assist in month end and year end closing process.Intercompany and allocation schedules.Assist in annual audit and other funding source or authorities' audit.Periodic payroll entries and reconcile Payroll account.Assist in special projects and run ad-hoc reports.Will assist Director's during annual audit and in the production of audit schedules.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in accounting.5+ years' work experience in accounting.Knowledge of GAAP principlesNonprofit industry experience requiredAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong Excel and ADP Skills#INJAN2024#CBJAN2024
