Senior Cloud Security EngineerMandatory Certification:
AWS or Azure CertificationKey Requirement:Candidates must hold a valid AWS or Azure certification to qualify for this position. Submissions without this certification will not be considered.Project ScopeAs a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will work closely with Product Owners, Application Owners, and Network and Security teams to design and implement secure, scalable solutions for cloud-based infrastructure and applications. This role focuses on both public and hybrid cloud environments, requiring strong consulting abilities to interpret customer needs and deliver hands-on, effective security solutions.Key Responsibilities- Cloud Infrastructure Design: Architect and deploy resilient, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS and Azure platforms.- Security Automation Development: Build and deploy cloud security accelerators and IP through automation.- Security Operations Collaboration: Partner with Security Operations to develop and support SIEM, SOAR, and XDR tools.- Configuration Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve setup issues across development, testing, and production environments.- Compliance and Monitoring: Implement systems to ensure compliance with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, SOX, PCI) and establish effective monitoring, logging, and auditing practices.- Zero-Trust Security: Develop secure infrastructure based on zero-trust principles for cloud environments.- Client Collaboration: Work with government clients, with occasional travel required for on-site engagements.Required Skills and Experience- 5-10 years in information security and engineering- Cloud Infrastructure Proficiency: Proven expertise in designing and maintaining infrastructure within AWS and Azure environments- Cloud Security Operations: Experience in cloud security design, implementation, and automation- Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and verbal communication- Documentation Skills: Skilled in creating clear documentation for security tools, configurations, and incident reportsPreferred Skills- Firewall and Network Security: Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (VM Series in AWS and Azure), Forescout, Cisco Umbrella, and F5 load balancing- Security Tools: Familiarity with Prisma CloudEducation and Certifications- Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience- Preferred Certifications:- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)- SC100 (Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect)- AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer- PCNSA or PCNSEAdditional Technical Skills- Network Security: HIPAA Security and MARS-E expertise (4-6 years)- Programming and Cloud Platforms: Advanced experience with Azure Power Platform and Azure Cloud Virtualization (4-6 years)
