Position Summary:
The Human Resources Talent Coordinator will support the daily recruiting and talent management functions of the Human Resources (HR) department.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Source candidates through job boards and other recruiting platforms.
Organize and participate in recruiting events such as job fairs, open houses, and college career fairs to network with potential candidates.
Screen candidates and administer skills tests to evaluate qualifications.
Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems.
Draft and post job descriptions to relevant job boards and company career pages.
Assist with the preparation of offer letters.
Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and ensuring all required documentation is completed.
Coordinate new hire orientation sessions and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Set up new hires in HRIS and ensure they have access to necessary resources and tools.
Serve as a point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.
Assist in the coordination and execution of employee check-ins, performance reviews or other talent management activities.
Maintain accurate records of employee performance reviews, development plans, and other talent management data.
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement and retention.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations.
Assist in creating and updating requisitions and hiring policies.
Other responsibilities as assigned by Senior Management.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in human resources, business or a related field required.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years work experience in recruiting / talent acquisition, preferably in a union/non-union manufacturing environment.
Experience with recruiter/sourcing tools and HRIS.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities; multitask, detail-oriented, and organized.
High level of interpersonal skills and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
Broad-based knowledge of Human Resources.
Physical Demands:
Required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, computer controls.
May be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, kneel, crouch, sit, talk, hear, and walk.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, ability to focus.
Work Environment:
Required to be present in the office to collaborate with hiring managers and peers.
Regular, ongoing travel throughout geographic areas on a continual basis as normal scope of role.
Employee travel/work hours/schedule/location and/or shift are subject to change based on business needs and management discretion.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Personal Protective Equipment or Attire Required for Position:
As needed.
Pay Range:
$60,000 - $70,000 per year
