About the Role The Medical Ally (Nurse) will offer health coaching, information, and support through various channels, including phone. They will collaborate with a physician-led team to coordinate educational content and services tailored to participants' needs. Responsibilities Supporting participants to achieve their best clinical outcomes without undertaking nursing or medical tasks. Assessing and identifying opportunities to support the patient along their health care journey via a conversational approach Educating callers about available clinical services. It also includes providing immediate assistance to symptomatic individuals and making referrals if needed. Providing health information to the caller based on their health literacy and specific areas of interest Communicating patient preferences to a physician led team to provide pertinent health information to the patient Managing assigned workload, including ongoing client follow-up and customization of report materials with ease Staying updated on educational resources, web tools, and corporate benefits programs. Using this knowledge, you will provide current information and guidance to clients. Conducting feedback surveys with clients to evaluate satisfaction, utilization of services provided and impact of clinical services Participating in conference calls with patients and their families. In some cases, there will be scheduled calls outside of usual shift Maintaining timely accurate entry of all case notes and client interactions in database Requiring strict adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations when handling data and providing services. Requirements Be a Registered Nurse with an Associate degree and equivalent experience, BSN preferred. LVN or LPN will be considered Have RN/LVN/LPN license in good standing (compact state license preferred); Spanish speaking preferred. Experience in a clinical setting providing direct support to patients and their families from diagnosis through treatment Experience communicating medical information to a nonmedical audience Have proficient computer and internet navigation skills Dedicate to providing high quality, professional, customer service Experience working with a variety of digital/internet media and interest in exploring new information technology Enjoy working independently and in a team environment Be comfortable with a dynamic, evolving operation Be able to multitask while providing excellent customer service to our participants Have high-speed internet service Flexible Working So that you can
