JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is located in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Purpose: The purpose of the Graphic Designer is to design and develop print and digital marketing collateral for the Gordon Flesch Company (GFC). Responsibilities: Performs the duties and responsibilities commensurate with the assigned functional area within a department(s) which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks: Design and develop marketing collateral. Design and produce a variety of print projects. Build electronic files to meet vendor specifications and function as a prepress/production artist. Plan, schedule and prepare for production of original artwork on small to medium-sized projects. Adhere to Corporate and Marketing processes, procedures and brand guidelines. Organize and maintain GFC digital archive and assets Maintain and edit GFC website using the Hubspot CMS. Create and manage events through Attendease Follow trends and developments in technology and integrate them into our environment and practices. Miscellaneous job duties as assigned Requirements: Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience. Minimum of 3 years of first-hand experience and strong technical proficiencies using design programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office. A strong working knowledge of pre-press printing and proofing. Experience in design for print and web Proficiency with current version of HTML, CSS and Adobe Suite. Solid knowledge of web design, layout, typography and iconography skills Exceptional communication skills, with a dedication to detail and consistency Ability to code HTML as well as follow templates Ability to multi-task. Strong attention to detail.
