Job Title: Mechanical Designer-SolidWorks
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs and drawings using SolidWorks. This role involves collaborating with engineers and other team members to develop efficient and effective filtration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Collaborate with engineers to design and optimize filtration systems and components.
Create and update technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and assembly instructions.
Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet industry standards and company specifications.
Assist in the prototyping and testing of new designs.
Support the manufacturing team with technical drawings and design modifications.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience with 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience with filtration systems or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
