Be a member of the Philips global Rewards Center of Expertise within the global People Function. Additionally, you will leverage your people leadership to develop a high-performing team. As the senior Rewards business partner, you will be a credible and consultative partner to effectively communicate with senior management in order to maintain and promote progressive and competitive Rewards programs that support business objectives.
You are responsible for (but not limited to)…
Lead a team of 15+ experienced compensation and benefits professionals, providing leadership, direction, and development for the team.
Determine priorities, establish long-term objectives and develop a framework for policies and strategies related to compensation activities such as job evaluation and salary surveys, salary structure refinements, salary budgeting, and analysis, as well as policy and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation.
Manage annual programs (merit, annual incentive, LTI, comp structures) and executive compensation.
Manages design of employee benefit plan, with particular attention on US programs, ensuring they are market and cost competitive.
Act as primary Rewards leader and business partner to leadership stakeholders with the People function in the region.
Communication of Rewards related objectives to management and employees.
Maintain expertise in best practices, trends and specialized compensation methods and technology to evaluate the impact of introducing new methods or products for the company.
Your Team
This position, based in Cambridge, reports to the global Head of People Rewards, and leads the strategic and operational rewards activities for a large diverse employee population within product development, sales, services, and functional activities across all countries in the Americas. In this role, you will ensure that compensation and benefits programs meet business requirements and align with the overall rewards philosophy and direction.
To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
An advanced degree, particularly an MBA, is preferred. Relevant certifications are desired
15 years of general and Human Resource experience, inclusive of strategic and operational corporate reward responsibility.
5+ years current or recent experience working in a matrixed global organization.
In addition to compensation expertise, broader experience with total rewards, including health and welfare, pension, etc.
Experience managing teams including managing managers and a geographically dispersed team.
Business partnering and interpersonal skills - Credible subject matter expert with the ability to communicate effectively to non-experts.
Global/International experience. Culturally astute, with understanding and appreciation for non-US approaches.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $183,750 to $315,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
