Overview
Amtrust Financial Services, is a fast growing commercial insurance company, seeking a highly technical, inquisitive, and driven Claims Specialist (Adjuster) with expertise in handling Commercial General Liability Bodily Injury (GLBI) claims. The successful candidate will exclusively handle GLBI claims. The successful candidate will evaluate coverage issues and risk transfer opportunities as well as ensuring appropriate investigation of the underlying facts and circumstances is prompt, while proper experts are retained and utilized where necessary. You are comfortable with litigation management which includes the selection and utilization of counsel as well as excellent negotiation skills and strategy setting. Most importantly, you bring leadership qualities, a team-centric mindset, and a desire to be part of the AmTrust community. Significant experience working with claims in litigation3+ years' experience with commercial injury/GLBI claims of high valueThorough understanding of the lines of business (laws, principles of coverage, liability and insurance industry in general)Analytical and human relations skills, and ability to operate business technology are criticalEffective communication skills; ability to obtain information from others and deliver information to others orally and in written formAdjuster licensing is requiredTravel required; attend mediations when necessary and trial monitoring#LI-MB1#LI-HYBRIDWhat We Offer
