This company boasts a diverse portfolio of project types. They are looking to onboard a Project Manager to help guide project teams building new K-12 developments.Your new roleThe Project Manager job entails managing all activities associated with the construction of school developments. Some of the responsibilities for this PM include managing contracts, costs, schedules, safety, and quality throughout all phases of the construction process. Project Managers will also be accountable for maintaining relationships with the clients, building trust and value throughout the construction process.What you'll need to succeedTo qualify for the Project Manager job, eligible candidates must possess a B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. You will also need to have at least 10 or more years' experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor or builder/developer. To be successful you need to be able to read construction drawings, be proficient in buyout of subcontracts, financial forecasting, and be familiar with Tampa's subcontractor and vendor market.
