As a Principal Data Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge tools and technologies to solve complex business problems and drive technical solutions.Lead and collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutionsUtilize programming languages like Java, Scala, Python, and Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databasesStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and mentor other team membersWork on robust cloud-based solutions to empower millions of customersConduct thorough unit tests and performance reviewsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAt least 4 years of application development experienceAt least 2 years of big data technologies experienceAt least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)Preferred Qualifications:7+ years of application development experience including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java4+ years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)4+ years experience with Distributed data/computing tools4+ years experience with Real Time data and streaming applications4+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation4+ years of data warehousing experience4+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux and Shell Scripting2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practicesThis role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, comprehensive health and financial benefits, and a competitive salary package.
