Hill International is seeking a Scheduler in Long Island, New YorkConsult with customers, attend status meetings, engage with responsible people in other organizationsDevelop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possiblePrepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teamsMonitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing of alternative methods for corrective actionPrepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysisMaintain record of scope changes, trends and variances that potentially affect schedule performanceReview schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the scheduleFacilitate project scheduling meetings and/or interactive planning meetings as requiredReview construction schedules with supporting documentationPrepare Schedule update reports to the client indicating changes and analyze the impactsAssist the Project Team in evaluating and monitoring the Contractors progress schedule as well as consulting and troubleshooting issues throughout the construction of the project

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years or experience of scheduling experience in utilities or electricalFour-year college degree is preferred, major in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent technical disciplineMust be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Oracle Primavera P6 softwareMust have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to present complex, technical information in simple, non-technical terms. Must be customer focused to understand and appropriately respond to clients' business needs promptlyDemonstrated ability to validate and accurately analyze information, and make sound decisions that have considerable business impact. Demonstrated ability to initiate, evaluate, and implement suggestions to optimize effectiveness of the organizationDemonstrated the ability to interface effectively and collaborate with clients, peers, management, and vendors to successfully meet shifting needs. Demonstrated ability to motivate self and others to overcome obstacles and achieve goals with little supervisionMust be willing to work full time onsite in Long Island, NYThe salary range for this position is $100,000-$125,000.
