8/09/2024SUMMARY:As a Program Manager for Construction West, you will play a crucial role in coordinating construction projects across the region. Reporting to the Director of Construction, you will assist in implementing processes and standards to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project management objectives, collaborating with project teams, and supporting business development efforts. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the organization's construction projects in the West region.Annual Salary:$150,000- $175,000 based on interview and experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures for all employees.
* Support the Director of Construction West in establishing and implementing project management objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are executed according to job specifications, project requirements, and corporate policies.
* Assist in developing project plans and schedules, monitoring project progress, and identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
* Track approvals for proposals, contract changes, and other project-related documents according to the Dawson Authority Matrix.
* Support the management of project budgets and expenses, including monitoring costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
* Assist in managing indirect costs to ensure compliance with corporate policies regarding overhead labor and travel.
* Participate in project review processes to ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and reporting dates.
* Support employee development programs and plans as directed by the Director of Construction West.
* Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the West Region.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Daily Duties:* Review project progress reports and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
* Conduct meetings as needed with project managers to discuss daily priorities, tasks, and challenges.
* Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to provide updates on project status and address any inquiries or requests.
* Monitor safety compliance and address any safety hazards or incidents that occur on site.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers as needed to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
* Review project budgets and expenses to track financial performance and identify any deviations from the budget.
* Provide guidance and support to project managers and team members as needed to ensure project objectives are met.
* Conduct site visits to inspect project progress, quality, and safety standards.Weekly Duties:* Conduct weekly project review meetings to assess project performance, identify risks, and discuss action plans for addressing issues.
* Review and approve project change orders, budget revisions, and other contractual documents.
* Compile and analyze project data, including cost reports, schedule updates, and quality metrics.
* Meet with senior management to provide program updates, discuss challenges, and propose solutions.
* Conduct performance evaluations for project managers and team members to provide feedback and identify areas for improvement.

* Coordinate with HR and training departments to develop and implement training programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities for program staff.QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management or related field
