The General Manager will provide leadership, and vision to our team of high-performing Technicians.Qualifications:Minimum of ten (10) years, verifiable full- time management experience in residential HVACFamiliar with the Nexstar process (preferred)Working knowledge of residential HVAC methods, techniques & systems; as well as codesMust embrace being constantly challenged to grow and improve operationally and professionallyPassion for and prior successful history of building high performing teamsStrong Leadership skills with ability to build consensus and gain buy-inDemonstrate a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small or large, impossible, or cannot be improvedValid Driver's License and ability to pass pre-employment background checkResponsibilities:Ensure the Nexstar process is being followedResponsible for the day-to-day production of the company from interfacing with executive leadership team, finance, management of field operations, supervision of safety & project management & on-site progress, and employee retentionOversee successful execution of all Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC serviceProvide oversight and accountability, Managers are on track and within budgetChampion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and toolsCollaborate with Ownership on long & short-term plans for company growthDrive safety, quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectivesProvide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company to OwnershipAct as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among the sales, service, installation, and operations departmentsWork autonomously while ensuring Ownership expectations are readily met and exceeded.Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the companyJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceSchedule:Full TimeWeekends as neededExperience:HVAC: 5 years (Preferred)Plumbing: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)
