This is a permanent 100% remote position with the option to be hybrid if you desire (and reside in the Greater Chicago Area). The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of c-corp, s-corp, individual tax returns, and partnerships experience.Responsibilities: Develop and implement tax strategies for clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize returns. Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for c-corp, s-corp, individual, partnership, HNW, and UHNW clients. Conduct tax research and analysis to keep up-to-date with tax laws and regulations. Provide tax planning advice to clients to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Manage client relationships and communicate with clients regarding tax matters. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure tax compliance and accuracy. Identify tax issues and provide solutions to minimize risk and exposure. Assist in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax within a public accounting firm, 3 of which in a managerial position. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of c-corp, s-corp, individual tax returns, partnership, HNW, and UHNW tax planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and remotely. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
