The role involves supporting attorneys in managing estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and delivering excellent client service.Key Responsibilities:Administer estates and trusts from inception to completion.Prepare and file probate documents, including petitions, inventories, and accountings.Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties.Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.Coordinate with financial institutions and other professionals.Assist with federal and state tax return preparation.Maintain accurate records of estate and trust transactions.Conduct legal research as needed.Provide general administrative support to attorneys.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of estate and trust administration experience.Paralegal certification or equivalent experience.Knowledge of North Carolina estate and trust laws.Strong organizational and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software.Interested in hearing more?
