As a Reliability and Failure Analysis Technician, you will be responsible for supporting key reliability focused goals through SEM sample preparation and imaging, effluent analysis through IC, ICP-MS, assisting in in-situ characterizations and monitoring. You will be working alongside failure analysis engineers and other teams to collect crucial information for various critical projects across the company.
You will be based onsite in our electrolyzer factory in Devens, MA and report to Cell Failure Analysis Engineer.
Primary responsibilities:•Work collaboratively with a diverse and passionate engineering team.•Conduct wide-range of characterization tests and/or accelerated stress tests (AST) that would enable understanding key technology failure modes.•Prepare samples for various characterization techniques like SEM, XRF, ICP-MS, IC etc.•Execute experimental plans and/or prepare samples for failure analysis•Provide excellent communication within Electric Hydrogen to facilitate coordinating technology goals and milestones
Basic Qualifications:•2+ years experience in an R&D laboratory or production support environment•HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training), AS degree in a Technical or STEM field•Detail oriented, organized, and highly reliable approach to data collection and documentation•Safety-conscious and ready to actively promote safe behavior and lab operations•Work with a high-level of autonomy
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in utilizing characterization techniques like SEM, XRD, ICP-MS, IC, FTIR, etc.

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.
