With expertise across various applications, we deliver high-precision components and complete products tailored to exceed customer expectations.Job SummaryDirects the engineering department including duties associated with planning engineering programs, reviewing design and method recommendations, purchasing equipment, and ensuring that engineering activities align with organizational objectives.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversees product design, manufacturing processes, and cost reduction and control.Manages and coordinates the activities of multiple engineering departments.Discovers potential problems, solves problems, implements changes, and continuously monitors progress.Effectively completes new product launches.Implements effective engineering methods, provides technical guidance, and is a resource for engineers.Analyzes and implements new processes that meet manufacturing needs following timelines, budgets, and quality assurance.Effectively and proactively manages continuous improvement of existing programs.Works with the leadership team to build and support lean manufacturing initiatives.Conducts regular staff meetings and one-on-ones with staff.Works with other functional areas (Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, etc.) to obtain cooperation, agreement, or assistance as required to complete the job correctly, within budget, and on time.Responsible for Performance Management, including selection, training, employee development, performance reviews, and disciplinary action of direct reports.EducationMinimum 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Engineering or related role).Experience3 - 6 years of Supervisory experience. 10+ years Manufacturing engineer or similar role.
