business development professionals,
working as regionally dedicated sales and growth specialists to drive consulting services. The Business Development Analyst will work directly with our US Regional Growth Leaders to support business development across the three (3) AGRC business units of Property Risk Consulting, Casualty Risk Consulting and Actuarial/Risk Finance. Significant focus will be on the use of data and analytics to support both individual deal pursuits as well as the broader new business development and penetration strategy and results reporting.Job Responsibilities:
Collect loss information and run data analysis compared to industry specific KPIs to be used in Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and/or other new business opportunities.Become proficient in understanding Aon's data driven diagnostic and risk mitigation tools.Assist with content development for written and oral RFPs, and other proposals when appropriate.Produce regional and office level reports to track progress towards goals and identify growth opportunities.Deliver ad-hoc reporting as needed to support development of growth strategies.Assist in maintaining the AGRC pipeline to include timely entry of new opportunities and updates to existing entries to ensure data integrity.Attend and participate in periodic meetings with both AGRC, Commercial Risk Services, and Pursuit and Creative (PaC) stakeholders as needed.Assist in creating and updating industry and product specific marketing and RFP content.Interpreting stakeholder needs, assess requirements, and identify solutions to standard/non-standard requests.Develop rapport and leverage appropriate AGRC and Commercial Risk resources to ensure commitments are met and results are achieved.Aid in the continued enhancement of the new business development processes and team growth.Aon's professionals are unwavering in their client focus and integrity. Maintain skills as an insurance professional and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Advanced proficiency, strong knowledge, and demonstrated skills for using Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Publisher, Access, Outlook)Proven analytical ability and basic knowledge of data analysis techniques.Ability to digest large amounts of content and design a concise and succinct summary presentation.Motivated to learn with a strong demonstration of accountability and process ownership.Develops skills to lead and coordinate supporting resources toward final RFP deliverables for and other materials/content.Develops skills to progressively take on lead BD activities at assigned offices.Develops knowledge within each business unit to enhance abilities to articulate a value proposition across key offering.Travel : Dependent on the regions being supported but estimated at approximately 10% overnight travel.Minimum Work Experience Required:
Three or more years in risk management in industry and/or insurance consultation. Specific job title to be commensurate with experience level, technical expertise and/or specialization.Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.Pay Transparency Laws
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $X80,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus and production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus and production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.How we support our colleagues
