POSITION SUMMARY:
Overmyer Hall Associates is seeking to add a Client Service Manager to oversee their Commercial Lines team of Client Specialists! The Client Service Manager trains and guides Commercial Lines Client Specialists through their assigned responsibilities to ensure the future success of the individuals and the team as a whole. The Client Service Manager will provide training on procedures or process and serve as an information and situation resolution resource for the Client Specialist team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise Commercial Lines Client Specialists: assigning and monitoring work, implementing productivity standards, resolving operations problems, and implementing new procedures
Maintain staff by selecting, orienting, and training Commercial Lines Client Specialists and developing their personal growth opportunities
Develop and maintain formal, documented training programs for Client Specialist team
Coordinate and provide ongoing system and procedural training for numerous technologies, including Epic agency management system, CSR24, various other software applications and carriers’ online quoting systems
Monitor Client Specialists’ development and communicate progress directly to employee through regular coaching sessions
Document progression over a specific timeline, set learning targets and track results for each Client Specialist to better identify advancement readiness
Oversee dedicated OHA certificate email address to ensure prompt and accurate issuance of certificates of insurance and related change requests
Promote and facilitate consistent and effective procedural communications between Client Specialists and the commercial lines department
Learn and master the procedures required for Commercial Lines Client Specialists, and other selected positions within the agency and be able to perform those functions as needs arise
Run and review regular activity reports to identify backlogs, confirm compliance with agency procedures, and assess training needs
Serve as liaison between Client Specialist team and Commercial Lines Client Managers
Work directly with carrier representatives to ensure carriers systems are being utilized appropriately and Client Specialists are proficient in their use
REQUIREMENTS:
Ohio Property & Casualty license is required
Previous Insurance experience is required. Prior Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance experience is highly preferred
Professional designations are preferred
College degree preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required
Prior management/leadership experience is highly preferred
Knowledge of commercial insurance and products is essential
Existing knowledge of Applied Epic, or ability to develop it, is essential
Strong understanding and comfort using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
High level of professionalism; ethical; visionary leadership skills
Analytical and detail oriented; self-starter
Strong decision making, judgment and problem-solving skills
Department General Management
Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
