Develop reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Produce business intelligence (BI) information by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. Design and build BI solutions that improve Microsoft products. Analyze data using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques. Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders. Build strong partnerships with stakeholders and manage BI and reporting projects. Articulate project goals and scope, translate business needs into technical terms, set milestones and prepare detailed work summaries and structures. Document and share best practices for BI and reporting end to end processes. Facilitate foundational operations that support the core infrastructure of Microsoft's online services or cloud technologies. Telecommuting permitted 50% or more (but not 100%) within the same geographic area as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.Experience: Four (4) years of program/product management, business intelligence, and data analysis experience.Specific Skills : This position also requires 48 months of experience in: Data Analysis; 36 months of experience in: SQL; 12 months of experience in: Python; 6 months of experience in each of the following: Azure Databricks; Azure Synapse SQL; and Data Science; and education or experience in: Power BI.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employees role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others.
