Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat and more.Job Summary:The Strategic Sourcing Co-op will be an integral team member working with Strategic Sourcing Category Leads to support new and ongoing sourcing initiatives. These initiatives include such activities as contract management, research and data analysis. Additionally, this position will support key areas such as: Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Quality and Regulatory, and Marketing. The Co-op will aid in the maintenance of critical components within HP Hood systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the development and documentation of standard proceduresImplement projects in accordance with timelineCommunicate project updates and results and initiatives to internal stakeholdersProvide Category Leads monthly and ad hoc reports for spend, volume and trendsSupport potential new packaging, innovation and sustainability projectsRequest quotes from suppliers and help Sourcing Leads in their sourcing activities including the usage of software tools such as SAP and AribaAssist Category Leads by monitoring appropriate commodity markets and maintaining monthly cost changesResearch and evaluate potential new suppliers and their productsManagement of Trace Gains data entriesProvide accurate information as needed for RFX (request for quote), audits, and cost savings reviewsAssist with creation and maintenance of Packaging and Ingredients specificationsOther responsibilities and duties as required

Education and Experience:Candidate who is pursuing a business or engineering related Master's degreeMinimum 3.0 GPA is preferredMust have access to transportation to Lynnfield, MAMust be able to work from January to June or July to DecemberPrevious work/intern experience a plusPrevious work/intern experience with SAP/Ariba (preferred)

Skills and Competencies:Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point and OutlookStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks assignedStrong presentation and communications skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational planning and follow-through abilitiesExceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
