Quikrete®, the leading producer of packaged concrete and related products, is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our Corporate team. If you are ready to put your experience and creativity to work for an iconic brand which is as stable as its product, please read on!The Graphic Designer will play an instrumental role in the development of graphic design for all enterprise-wide marketing initiatives while upholding corporate brand standards: print, web, email blasts, sales collateral, event signage and other mediums. This position primarily focuses on print and digital graphic design but also incorporates layout and limited copy writing. The Graphic Designer reports to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications in a shared services model, providing the opportunity to work on multiple brands owned by The Quikrete® Companies. This is an in-office position five days per week, hybrid or remote work is not possible.What you will do in the role:Create layouts and develop graphics for a variety of materials, including brochures, catalogs, packaging, case studies, infographics, email headers, social media graphics, direct mail, advertising, training materials, trade show graphics, PowerPoint templates, digital banners and other projects as needed. Experience with digital design is a plus.Help maintain and review digital asset management system.Bring innovation, creativity and freshness to our marketing execution and stay on top of trends in the design profession.Contribute to concept development and brainstorming creative ideas for a wide range of projects.Work with outside vendors to coordinate print and production of materials as needed.Work under limited supervision, taking ownership of assignments and any issues within own area of knowledge.Create and modify documents using the latest Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.Work cooperatively in a team environment; participate in project planning sessions with team members and key stakeholders.Work with both internal and external customers daily.Meet intense and changing deadlines, manage multiple projects, balance shifting priorities and focus on solutions to improve quality and efficiency as project progresses.In addition to these typical duties, may perform other duties as assigned and required.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Communications, Marketing or similar fieldA minimum of 2 years proven experience in professional graphic design, in a business-to-business or business-to-consumer environment.Strong communications skills which facilitate the ability to successfully partner with both internal and external clients during the design and creative process.Aptitude to be flexible with a desire to work in fast-paced, high volume, constantly changing marketing environment.Ability to multi-task and remain on schedule with projects at hand.A positive attitude with a recognized willingness to learn and do whatever is needed.Software proficiency with Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign - experience with Premier Pro and XD is a plus. Experience with AutoCAD and / or Rhino 3D is also a plus to the role.Expert MAC user.Experience with online marketing and strong understanding of website usability.Excellent attention to detail, including the ability to handle copy changes with accuracy, control versions carefully, and ensure files are archived accurately and promptly.Proven understanding of print layout, including master pages, layers, tables, export settings, print requirements, style sheets, fonts, color profiles/palettes, pagination, graphic manipulation, etc.High level of personal initiative, accountability, and follow-through.An industry pioneer known for its iconic and unmistakable yellow bag of concrete, The Quikrete ® Companies was founded in 1940.
