Job Summary:Converge Technology Solution is looking for an Audio-Visual Consultant with Audio Visual and Video Conferencing experience to join our Collaboration team. This is a pivotal role within our Digital Workplace practice ensuring the successful delivery and installation of AV solutions for our clients. You will be part of a team responsible for driving the Audio-Visual strategy at the highest standard with the goal of maximizing the collaborative meeting experience across all functions of business.
FLSA Status:ExemptEssential Functions:Perform installations of complex audiovisual systems at various customer sitesProvide technical oversight and support of integrated AV projects within the project scopeSupervise on-site teams, ensuring efficient execution of projects from inception through completionEngage in rigorous testing and troubleshooting, ensuring systems meet operational standards and client needsProvide detailed project documentation and maintain high safety and quality standardsStay current on latest AV technology trends and vendorsWork with Project Management team with project implementation issuesIdentify special project considerations, lifts, rigging, specialized mounts etc.Travel to various job sites required on an as needed basisRequired Skills/Abilities/CompetenciesProven experience in audiovisual system installations Cisco, Yealink, etc.Strong technical knowledge of AV systems design and integrationTechnical skills & know how in terminating low voltage audio, video, and cablingEffective problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlinesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsRelevant technical certifications (e.g., Shure, Biamp, AVIXA CTS, QSYS, Crestron, Extron) are preferredAbility to travel (up to 90%) and work flexible hours, including occasional weekendsA valid drivers license and a good driving recordAn understanding of systems integration techniquesUnderstanding of basic IP networkingExperience and troubleshooting low voltage data cablesVisio or CAD application experience a plusInstallation of AV equipment such as projectors, displays, video walls, speakers, basic cabling, mountsExperience with Collaboration platforms to include MS Teams, Cisco WebEx, ZoomAbility to lift 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs periodicallyAbility to lead AV system installations while onsiteEducation and Experience:At least 5+ years of related experience requiredBachelors degree or equivalent experience and/or military experienceCertifications from Biamp, QSC, Zoom, Cisco, Yealink, Shure, Dante level 1, 2, 3 are preferred but not requiredPassionate about AV technology and delivering quality installationsLeadership and guidance while onsite with installationsStrong project and time management skillsStrong background in AV testing and quality assuranceStrong communication skillsVendor certifications are highly valuedjobDescriptionFooter:
