Construction Superintendent - Ground Up Projects

Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with expertise in ground-up commercial projects . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on safety and quality. You will oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to design specifications, timelines, and local regulations. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily on-site operations for ground-up commercial construction projects , including scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control. Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Supervise and lead all subcontractors and field personnel, maintaining a safe and productive job site. Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, and local building codes. Oversee project timelines, materials, and equipment delivery to ensure alignment with project schedules. Implement and enforce site safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance. Conduct regular site meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns. Troubleshoot on-site challenges and provide proactive solutions to minimize delays and cost overruns. Maintain thorough and accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other necessary documentation. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction . Proven experience in overseeing a wide range of commercial projects, including retail, office buildings, medical facilities, or similar. Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, safety regulations, and quality control standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications. Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. OSHA 30 certification preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
