The HiTech Division of New Hampshire Ball Bearings is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for its aerospace ball and roller bearing manufacturing facility located in Peterborough, NH.
In the Quality Manager role, you will have the responsibility for developing, implementing, and constantly improving processes and procedures to ensure that we are manufacturing the consistently high-quality product expected by our customers. With a team of experienced quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians, you will help manage the culture of quality within the organization and communicate the role every employee plays in maintaining our high quality standards.
Day-to-day duties include addressing customer concerns, ensuring compliance to customer quality requirements, shop-floor response to quality events, managing corrective actions, ensuring readiness for customer and industry assessments, and maintaining industry certifications such as AS9100. The quality manager works closely with all areas of the organization to improve internal and delivered quality performance.
In this position, you will require:
A Bachelors degree with a focus in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
Experience in managing quality or continuous improvement in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Proven track record of success as a team leader and motivator.
Strong understanding of quality tools including APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, and Auditing.
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
High proficiency in MS office products including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word
Knowledge of AS9100 & AS13100 is strongly preferred.
