Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted.Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics.General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Telemetry/PCU unit with diagnoses including CHF, MI/Chest pain (pre- and post-cath), Dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), Hypo-/Hypertension, Pleural effusion, Sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues.Ratio/Census: 1:4-5; 36 Rooms with average daily census of 35.Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR.Scrub Color: Navy Blue.RTO: MAX 7 days.Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.Job Requirements
Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH.Schedule Information
Weekends: Every other weekend.Floating: Yes.Call Requirements: None.Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.Major Holidays: New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1; Memorial Day: Monday, May 27; Independence Day: Thursday, July 4; Labor Day: Monday, September 2; Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29; Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25.
