Job Title: Information Technology Project Coordinator w/ Cloud Migration Exp Contract: 12 Months Location: San Antonio, TX On Site Work Job ref 238764 Strategic Staffing Solutions has an immediate hybrid contract (4 days on-site and 1 day remote) long term contract in San Antonio for an IT Project Coordinator who has worked on a cloud migration previously. This is for a large financial corporation. Note-MUST BE LOCAL TO SAN ANTONIO AREA. NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE NO CORP. TO CORP. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in project coordination of software development projects, particularly in cloud migration projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, manage timelines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration projects. Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Maintain project schedules, track milestones, and ensure timely completion of tasks. Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise. Document project processes, requirements, and changes, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accessible. Assist in risk management by identifying potential issues and recommending mitigation strategies. Support the onboarding and training of team members on cloud technologies and tools. Conduct post-migration reviews to assess project outcomes and capture lessons learned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably with a focus on cloud migration. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project). Experience with risk assessment and management. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master) are a plus.
