Join the V Team Life.What you'll be doing...Corporate Systems Group's mission is to digitize Verizon's core processes to deliver real time insights and capabilities enabling differentiation to our customers, employees, shareholders and society driving growth and competitive advantage. We are the core of how VZ runs, supporting the corporate lines of business such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Commercials Billing / Settlements and Global Real Estate.The ideal candidate is a great collaborator who possesses sound knowledge of IT project / portfolio management practices. This role will work closely with business partners to effectively manage the budget and spend throughout the year for a given work pillar.In this individual contributor role, you will be working to support critical finance operations all geared towards supporting our product & platform teams with achieving OKRs and maximizing value realization. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:Managing the life cycle of investments and initiatives to achieve the pillar's goals and objectives, which includes:Enabling wing to wing portfolio operations

Budget modeling, 3-Way Match / Balancing budget against Workforce Plan , SOW 1-n & Finance thresholds

Business case WBS creation, Business case + DP Expense( Supported by India)

Ensuring Budgeting alignment , modeling and tracking spend

Collaborating with other CIO teams on xCIO funding IN and OUT of CSG

Providing Analytical insights for portfolio enablement to maximize efficiency for the given pillar

Collaborating with key stakeholders such as business partners, finance and product development teams to realize the value of strategic initiatives.

What we're looking for..You'll need to have:

Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Knowledge of IT Project/ Portfolio management practices and have business and functional experience.

Understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.

Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Proficiency with financial accounting and ability to identify insights from financial statements.

Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Capability to be a structured thinker with a strong analytical approach.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external clients, and partners.

Possess excellent research, problem solving, analytical skills, and communication skills including excellent PowerPoint and Google Sheets / Slides , long form writing and excel capabilities

Excellent quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills; high proficiency in Excel.

Background or demonstrated interest in telecom, technology or media industries.

Proven track record of problem identification, solution development and implementation

Ability to be a team player.
