SummaryThe Manager, Benefits & Wellness position will be a member of the US Shared Services North America Payroll & Benefits team. In this role, you'll bring extensive benefits management expertise and analytical skills to develop, administer, and communicate our employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement and wellness initiatives. This position will work closely with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure our benefits are competitive, compliant with regulations, and aligned with organizational goals. The Manager will responsible for ensuring all plans comply with regulatory, tax, and legal requirements, overseeing annual benefit plan audits, and coordinating audits by regulatory agencies. This role also includes forecasting and tracking expenses, providing management support, and handling various ad hoc projects as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Benefits Strategy and AdministrationManage and administer all US employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, FSA, HSA, and Wellness programs.Partner with brokers, vendors, and consultants to ensure programs are cost-effective and competitive.Lead the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process, ensuring effective communication with employees.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and COBRA.Benefits Communication
Develop communication strategies to promote understanding and utilization of benefits programs.Prepare materials for benefits presentations, workshops, and employee education sessions.Provide guidance and counsel to employees on benefit matters, resolving complex issues and escalations.Vendor Management
Manage relationships with external benefits vendors, ensuring service levels are met and exploring opportunities for new services or improvements.Conduct periodic reviews of vendor contracts, negotiating renewals or transitions as needed.Data and Reporting
Analyze and monitor benefit plan costs, utilization data, and employee feedback to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on benefits strategy, costs, and performance.Compliance and Audits
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements and lead benefits-related audits as necessary.Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and internal reporting purposes.Supervisory Responsibilities
