The Clinical Director works closely with the Executive Director relating to the program and the clinical services provided. The Clinical Director is also part of the Senior Management Team, which supports compliance with all delivery of services to the fiscal, ethical, and legal standards upheld by the state of Maine and the core values and mission of Liberty Bay. Requirements:
Masters Degree in counseling, psychology, behavioral science, or equivalent field of studyExperience providing clinical supervision in according to Maine state licensure rules and regulationsKnowledge of recovery, mental health, and other co-occurring disordersExperience in working with addiction in a residential and/or intensive outpatient milieuExperience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skillsOne to three years of program management experience and staff supervision, including transforming clinical staff into a highly functional teamExperience with client billingsExperience and confidence identifying and implementing evidence based practicesExperience working in crisis setting with individuals and familiesAbility to work flexible hoursProgram development, evaluation, solid organizational skills, and public speakingStrong written and oral communication skillsProficiency in computer skills, especially using Outlook, Word, Excel and customized databasesAbility to work in and adapt the culture of a multi-cultural, community based organizationCommitment to maintain confidentialityUnderstanding of the Agencys mission and culture and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with staff and clients in all circumstancesEmployment contingent upon clear UDS and criminal history recordGood inter-personal skillsMust be able to ascend and descend up to three flights of stairs throughout the course of a normal workdaySatisfactory references from employers and/or professional peersSatisfactory criminal background check and drug screenSkills:

Support the Executive Director in program developmentEnsure clinical services are in compliance with county, state, and federal regular agenciesResponsible for the provision of clinical supervision for all clinical staff on clinical topics relevant to client services provided by Liberty BayProvide and/or coordinate clinical trainings for all clinical staff on clinical topics relevant to the client services provided by Liberty BayReview treatment plans, case notes and written correspondence in order to verify that such documents meet county, state, and federal agency standardsDevelop, implement, and evaluate clinical operationsCollaborate with the Executive Director and Quality Assurance in the development of policies and procedures relating to Liberty Bay programsEvaluate clinical staff annuallyOther Characteristics:
