We are seeking a Director of Infrastructure to join our global IT team. You will report to the CISO / Vice President Infrastructure, Operations and Security. You will ensure reliable 24/7 operations in partnership with offshore and managed service providers by defining IT infrastructure architecture, as well as standards to include disaster recovery, security, storage, servers, monitoring, performance, and back-office systems. Additionally, you will manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure through effective coordination of staff and service providers as well as working closely with vendor partnerships to deliver and support technical solutions.
You will also be responsible for:
Lead infrastructure P1 and P2 incident response calls and responsible for subsequent RCA documentation.Oversee hardware and software planning, design, and implementation across traditional data centers and cloud environments, leveraging automation for lifecycle management.Focus on the forward-looking aspects of infrastructure, successfully leverage automation solutions for datacenter and cloud lifecycle management, disaster recovery, and monitoring.Build future state roadmaps, understanding vendor offerings and providing mentorship to the organization with utilizing new technologies to solve business problems.Responsible to ensure all assets are in ITAM/CMDB with a high degree of accuracy and with relevant hardware, software, and firmware information as well all upstream and downstream connections and dependencies.Build successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business personnel by acting as a trusted advisor, developing a clear understanding of improvement areas, and ensuring feedback is shared within the IT organization.Provide input and recommendations on emerging technologies that should be considered to help deliver Solenis digital strategy.Establish service level objectives (SLO) and service level agreements (SLA) and ensure they are communicated, executed, and met.Prioritize resources and efforts in support of appropriate strategic initiatives and capabilities of Solenis.Develop metrics and reporting program to demonstrate continuous improvement, reliability and availability of IT systems and operations in the accountable areas.Support ISO 27001 efforts, periodic internal audit, compliance teams, infrastructure security and other risk-related functions as required.Foster an innovative team environment that encourages experimentation and learning.Requirements
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.3 years of experience managing technology professionals is required with demonstrable experience leading cross-functional technology teams.Superior technical aptitude and demonstrated analytical acumen and data-driven mindset towards decision-making to define strategy, spark growth, and fuel long-term impact.Proven track record for completing projects in specified deadlines.Fundamental understanding of ITIL, ITSM, change management, and technology management best practices.Must be able to handle high-impact situations and remain effective under pressure.A solid understanding of enterprise level infrastructure.High level working knowledge of the SAP system architecture and inter-dependencies, preferred.Effective self and personnel leadership skills including motivating, encouraging, enforcing accountability, directing activities, leading by example.Ability to effectively break down, prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks independently.Ability to communicate effectively across the business.Self-starter with an ability to work individually or in a team environment. Must be able to handle high pressure situations.Experimental mindset to drive innovation.Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.Challenger mindset and passion to challenge status quo to find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas - loves and embraces change.Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, and trust across the team.
