Job Description
Pantheon is looking for a Health Informatics Data Analyst to work with large public datasets using SAS, R, Python and other tools to manage and implement an automated and manual data delivery workflow that involves harmonization, file construction, publication analytics, and quality control.Job Responsibilities
Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), descriptive statistics, and basic predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and key insights in healthcare data.Collaboration: Work closely with senior data scientists, analysts, and healthcare professionals to understand project requirements, deliver analytical reports, and support decision-making.Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including policymakers and healthcare providers.Report Writing: Assist in preparing high quality 508 compliant technical reports, presentations, and documentation to summarize the results of analyses.Required Skills and CharacteristicsExcellent communicator with an ability to effectively engage in a technical conversation oriented to maximize business valueIs comfortable working in the weeds, but is also comfortable coming up for air and understanding the big pictureAble to communicate in person and in writing without relying on generative AIExperience with healthcare data formats and models including ICD-10, OMOP, USCDI, etc.Experience with healthcare data analyticsExperience with healthcare data interoperability using HL7 FHIRProficiency with SASProficiency with Stata, R, and/or PythonProficiency with Databricks, AWS Glue, or similarProficiency with Microsoft OfficeProficiency with Jira and ConfluenceAuthorization to work in the United StatesAbility to obtain a public trust clearance and pass a background checkPreferred: Bachelor's Degree in Health Informatics or Data Science from an accredited educational institution based in the United StatesAbout Pantheon
